I have this idea for a project I’ve been wanting to do for a while. A bunch of short (less than 30 seconds) animated clips where each one involves animating a word in a way that defines the word itself. It’s a pretty simple idea really and it would be a great way to let myself experiment with different techniques of animating while still trying to communicate something. I’m having a hard time thinking of a name for the series though. I’m thinking it would be some sort of video podcast form where people could get the latest ones if they wanted.
My main issue is trying to carve out enough time in my week to sit down and work on it. I am happy that much of my sitting on my ass time has been converted into dancing and acrobatics time, but I am finding that any time I have “free time” between that it quickly gets converted into “working on things for other people time.”
Maybe I shouldn’t be wasting my precious free evening blogging, but something about it helps me recenter myself. I guess I’m calibrating.
